The Maryborough Giants Football & Netball Club was established at the conclusion of the 2023 season through the amalgamation of two proud local clubs, Maryborough Rovers and Royal Park.
Formed to strengthen participation and ensure the long-term sustainability of football and netball in the Maryborough region, the Giants began competing in the Maryborough Castlemaine District Football Netball League (MCDFNL) in 2024.
The club made its debut in April 2024, generating strong community support and a positive start across both football and netball competitions.
While competing under the new Giants identity, the club proudly acknowledges and honours the rich history and traditions of both foundation clubs, which remain central to its culture and values.
