The Maryborough Giants Football Netball Club is proud to recognise the Maryborough Highland Society as a valued Principal Partner.
Established in 1857, the Highland Society is one of the region’s most significant historical and social institutions. Founded by Scottish immigrants to preserve their cultural traditions, it has grown into a vibrant, modern entertainment venue while proudly maintaining its rich heritage.
The Society is renowned for hosting Australia’s oldest continuous cultural event, the iconic Maryborough Highland Gathering, and continues to play a vital role in community connection, entertainment, and cultural celebration throughout the Central Goldfields.

Sports Bar featuring five live screens, TAB facilities, billiards room, and Foxtel coverage of major sporting events including the AFL.

Both Tift Dwarf and carpet bowling greens, with bowls available for hire.

Beer garden with live local music and multiple function rooms catering for weddings, celebrations, and seminars (up to 300 guests).

Held annually on New Year’s Day at Princes Park, the Maryborough Highland Gathering is a signature community event featuring:
