We wish to advise that Chris Bandel has stepped down from his A & B Grade coaching role due to personal reasons. We thank Chris for his time, commitment, and contribution to the Maryborough Giants FNC and wish him all the very best.
We are excited to announce the appointment of Laura McStravick as our A & B Grade Coach for the 2026 season.
Laura has been a valued part of the Giants since our inaugural 2024 season, where she has established herself as a strong senior player and a highly respected teammate.
She brings a genuine passion for developing players, creating a positive and supportive environment, and always has the best interests of the club at heart.
Laura brings great energy, enthusiasm, and a calming presence to the role.
She is passionate about building a strong, connected, and competitive senior group.
With a focus on development, teamwork, and enjoyment of the game, her approachable and encouraging style makes her a fantastic fit for our senior program.
Supporting Laura will be C Grade Coach Bec Dewhirst, whose involvement will help strengthen alignment across all senior teams and contribute to a cohesive and well-supported senior program for the 2026 season.
We can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store under Laura’s leadership.
